Bukit Merah Public Library - シンガポールの思い出

A large public library on Jalan Bukit Merah

The building has 3 floors, not new, but many books and seats available inside.
Level 1: kids books, magazines, newspapers
Level 2: adult books, fictions, general references
Level 3: halls and staff rooms (no entry allowed on the day)
20min from Jurong East MRT station by bus. Buses from Buona Vista, Commonwealth, Clementi are also available. Maybe Redhill is the nearest MRT station. I guess this library is mainly for people living in this area, then it will be convenient for them that there's also Community Centre on the opposite side of the road.
No cafe inside. [updates from my friend: there are lots of food centre around and two coffee shops within 50 meters.]

ビルは３階建て。新しくないが、ゆったりとして資料も座席もたくさんある。居心地よし。
１階：子供向け書籍、雑誌、新聞
２階：大人向け書籍、小説、レファレンスブック（貸出不可書籍）
３階：ホール、スタッフ用エリア（当日は立入り不可だった）
Jurong East MRT駅からバスで２０分。Buona Vista駅、Commonwealth駅、Clementi駅からのバスもあり。歩きの場合、おそらく最寄りはRedhill駅。道の向かい側にはCommunity Centre（公民館のようなもの）があることから考えても想定ユーザーは近隣住民と思われる。
館内カフェなし。[友人からの情報：図書館近辺にフードコート及びコーヒーショップあり]
